Chris Kuenzer: Steel Bridge Competition Results

I was out of the office for a few days because I had the opportunity to attend the ASCE/AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition in Provo, Utah. I went with the University of Michigan’s Steel Bridge Team, and we placed 9^th overall out of the 48 teams that qualified for the event. We were recognized with third place in Display, and our construction team had a flawless build with no drops or penalties. Teams from all over the world attended, and I would like to congratulate École de Technologie Supérieure of Canada on their victory. Back at Ideal Contracting, I have been working with Michael on doing Takeoff on the Battery Lab Addition and a few other jobs, and we are going to learn how to use Prime Bid this week. I have already learned so much in the short time I have been here, and I can’t wait to see what I will be learning next!
