Week 2 Blog post - Milford

Another Exciting week at the Milford proving grounds.  I’m currently working on opening and estimating my own job for a GM customer.  I was taken on a tour of the campus which is amazing! I couldn’t believe how big the facility is.  I’m learning a lot both in the field and the office.  I’ve visited sites and have talked with subcontractors.  We use excel for a lot of the documents we work with which I have very little experience with so it’s been an insightful paste 2 weeks.  I’m learning a lot of good stuff for future classes and employment.  I’m also developing an understanding of the commercial contracting field and what engineers and managers do on a daily basis.  I’m excited to continue to learn and grow in such an awesome field and will continue to work on my abilities.
